About me
As a painter, I’m interested in landscapes, how people interact with them, and how I can interact with the world through painting—in particular, painting from life. In practice, painting is a blend of many things—observation, patience, simplification—that involves taking in what I see and finding a way to represent my experience and understanding of it. The result, I hope, reflects both the effort and the experience.
I occasionally post updates, works in progress, and process images and videos on my Instagram page.
